In more detail, what is your opinion on what's happening in the world, is anything interesting happening near you, and what's your take on that?

Of course, the most obvious things going on in the world are the Middle Eastern Revolutions, the Ivory Coast war and the International Recession. What do you think of any one/all of these?

Well, Japan has nuked themselves (and a lot of other places), as you probably know. The saga of epic failure just keeps going and going and going, and I still haven't heard any apologies from the people who built the plant.
